K1200GT Brake Recall (Also effects K1200S and K1200R)

From the bulletin:

Due to an error in the assembly process of the silver-colored wheel carriers of the K1200 S / R / GT models, the front wheel-speed sensor cable might have suffered damage. In order to ensure that the ABS remains fully functional underall circumstances, the front wheel-speed sensor of each of the motorcycles in question will have to be replaced. This problem affects K1200 S / R / GT models with silver-colored wheel carriers manufactured in the period of June - July 2006. Motorcycles with black wheel carriers are not affected.

The error in the assembly process has been corrected.

Solution: The front wheel-speed sensor of each of the motorcycles affected must be replaced. VIN range: ZN45660 - ZN45670

In order to determine if a specific motorcycle is affected by this Technical Campaign, it will be necessary to verify all motorcycle VINs through a DCS Vehicle History Check. Based on the response of the system, either proceed with the repair or take no further action. The VIN Ranges listed above are only for informational purposes and are not to be considered a deciding factor.

Sounds like it's best to check any bike that falls into that build range.

I checked with my dealer today, and they couldn't find this. Is there a bulletin number I can access and print out the bulletin with?

So why are we checking the VIN number if it's not a deciding factor? Take the thing in, you might get the latest, greatest software load while your there.
