Service Manuals...What the heck!!!???
Well I picked up my 09' GS, and so far, love it!!! Too bad we're going to have 4 days straight of rain here. Oh well, need some rain gear.
I've been looking now, to buy some quality manuals for this year, and have found NONE. I'm becoming amazed at how I cannot seem to find some simple info regarding this bike without an exhausting search. The owner's manual is exceptionally void of what service procedures are due when. What specific lubricants are used etc. Anyone with an 08' or later GS have some references as to where to buy these manuals. All the links on here I've been able to find are for prior years, I'd rather pay for one specific to this year. ![]()

Go to ADV Rider. Jim VonBaden sells a DVD on do it yourself maintenance. It's a pretty good DVD.

+1 I bought it this spring.. Very helpful. I also picked up the "accessory CD" I can't remember if it was included, but found both very helpful..

Have you tried Clymer, they do some of the best service mauals money can but. One of the first things I do after buying a bike is get a Clymer maual for it. Not cheap but the best.
