I installed the Givi SRA5113 mounting plate & the V56 Maxia 4 top box on my 2016 R1200RT Platin Bronze.
Also installed the Admore LED lights into the reflectors of the lid.
I think it looks good & doesn't look as big as the BMW 49Ltr even though it's 56ltr.
The Admore lights
I haven't had anyone ride behind to comment on if they are bright enough. They are Tail, Brakes, & Signal Light.
First trip with it will be next weekend with the SO on the back for the first time, to Banff to look after 1 one of my grand-kids while the parent go to a wedding.

The light install went as described. The wire colours are as follows:
BMW Harness
GREY/RED Stripe /Yellow Dash - Tail Light
GREY/Black Stripe/Yellow Dash - Brake Light
BLUE/ Grey (Black) - Right Turn Signal
BLUE/RED Stripe/ GREY Dash - Left Turn Signal
BROWN - Ground
The harness can be followed from the plug that goes to the tail lights. The harness is on the left side of the bike, just to the rear of the accessory plug, held down with a wire clip that you can pull the harness from to allow great ease to connect too the wires.
I cut the insulation carefully from the harness to allow access to the wires above. I used Posi-Taps to connect the light harness from Admore.
Is there a reason you didn't tap in just behind the round bmw top case plug at the bottom of the picture? I'm going to be doing the same thing this week so just asking the question. Thanks.
I didn't check the connections there, but the BMW top case doesn't have signal lights so those connections aren't there?
I also forgot to mention that I used the 'Tail Light' wire as the switched 12V to turn on my LED driving lights & this is in the same location as mentioned above
For me the OEM box is the only way to go. It's designed for the bike and I don't worry about it falling off.
Obviously some are good with the other options but it comes down to personal preference.
By the way, it looks great on your bike.

I have held my v47 pad up to my v56 since I don't like the v56 option. I actually emailed givi to see if they were going to offer a pad to fit the v56 better due to the slope at the top vs the e55. They said "no". Glad you posted a picture. I thought I might need to shave off a bit at the bottom of the pad. You like the final result with yours? Thanks!
The V56 box I like but the pad could have been better. The SO said it was ok when she is on the bike & that's all that counts in the end...she's happy, I'm happy cause were riding somewhere.
Phil,
That's a good look'n case! I wish I would have looked around before purchasing my OEM '14 case but, I got it as a package deal when I bought the bike and was given a great deal on it....I still like the Givi designs much better than the OEM and it's much, much cheaper!
Thank you for the quick response, Bighopper! I saw your wiring info and the photo. I guess that I am still confused regarding the function of the red wire that appears to be heading toward the front of the bike...
Nonetheless, I appreciate your help and will hope to figure it out.

That RED wire is used as the trigger wire for the IQ-275 light controller for my LED lights I mounted on the BMW Light bars. As the power to the rear tail light is instant on/off.
Hope this helps.
Oh, now I understand. Thank you for the clarification!
