Thumbs up K1200LT chrome luggage rack!

I created a custom chrome luggage rack for my K1200LT recently... Harley dealers carry the rack for $ 149. Installation is only 4 holes drilled through the plastic on the rear pod. Very easy to install. You need 2 extra bolts that are 1 & 3/4 inches long for the back two legs. The other bolts come with the rack... I'd be happy to give detailed instructions to any who are interested as this rack setup costs half of others available!

Is it kinda like this one?? I think Paul Sayegh came up with this idea back in the early 2000s. Wherever you see a group of LTs, such as at CCR, you'll see lotsa similar racks.

It's a good rack. Looks like a practical piece. If I'm not mistaken, no light, right? I got mine from a forum member less than that, with the light. Thanks Pat (MostlyIrish)!

I'm a big fan of that Harley rack as well. It goes great on my Sears cargo box and Harbor Freight (I mean BMW) trailer.

The Marsee bag fits on it beautifully and holds tons of gear.

A rack... On a trailer... I've heard rumors that you travel with multiple females Ron, but with that kind of capacity, it must be true!

Ron, you have a nice rack. Hmmm, never said that to a man before. Just for the record.

Ron,
Did you do any shoring on the inside of the trailer to hold the rack and weight? What is your limit for additional weight in the Marsee?
Thanks,

Glenn
