I think I recognize a harley rack, but what seat is that?
And it looks like the PO, or maybe you, had hwy pegs mounted under the tip-over wings. I used that space to mount driving lights. Works pretty well. Just drilled and tapped the bar and screwed them into that blank space you have.

Re: Time for an LT PICTURE THREAD!

You asked for LT' pictures!!!!
1. Cherokee NC out watching the river when a senior couple pulled up for a closer look
2. speaks for itself
3. Want action shot . . . keeping an eye in the rear view mirror.
4. Doing a slow maneuver with my original Schuberth helmet light years before my LT.

Re: Time for an LT PICTURE THREAD!

I like this Tread, two more shots of my LT out of the Swiss - Austrian Alps in 2006.

This pictures are taken beginning of September, at that time you have to count with snow up there.

I've seen a couple of LT's in Europe with the twin exhausts.

Apparently, someone makes a kit.

Maybe Bilkswan will drum-in here and explain.

It does look cool. :{D

That is our friend from Finland named Ari. The muffler on the right side is a fake that is used for tool storage. Ari is the "Farkle Master' & has done Many Many upgrades to his LT.

Ari even applied paint (or something) to the appropriate area on the right "muffler" (the fake one), to make it look totally realistic. When he had his LT detailed at CCR one year the hard-working vendor removed the real soot AND the fake "soot". That must have taken some effort!

Re: Time for an LT PICTURE THREAD!

Apologies to the people I confused with my last post. The picture of the bike with the dual exhaust is Ari's. Ari is the "The Farkle Freak - Fin", I just assume everyone knows about his Farkles. As it was stated before the second exhaust is fake and is used for storage. If you want to see more pictures of his projects follow the link below:

http://picasaweb.google.com/pozoizquierdo

A few more pic's of Ari's bike:

those are taken from the place that sold it to me all u see is what it was like when i bought it. it even had a sticker just over the dash light that read Helmet on/off. My first thought was "is that a choice?" so thats a harley rack? and i bet he had pegs on it because i saw no wiring when i pulled the plastic the one time That seat is a corbin seat which is in need of a reupholster and maybe a backrest. I have a couple of people who are able to do upholstry so Ill get to it this winter. very comfy.

+1 on that!

I especially like the sun's reflection in the mirror, in this photo. It looks like it was done in post-production (you've seen it done on TV commercials before). Beautiful bike - beautiful country.

The reflection is as shot and what you can't see in the photo is the hundreds of fly's that were also there.

Re: Time for an LT PICTURE THREAD!

these are in the gallery, but this is a nice thread too. repainted in 09. got hit by a van and tipped over. was cheaper to paint than replace all plastic.

First two pics are me taking my son for his first ride on the German juggernaut, and he is showing off his new helmet. Third pic is looking out over my bike at just a few of the bikes at the BMW MOA Rally in Bloomsburg, PA. The last pic was also taken at the rally, at 3:30 PM.

Re: Time for an LT PICTURE THREAD!

A couple pictures from our 10 month experience with the K12LT.

The first two are from just a few weeks ago, my wife's nephew was playing in the State Little League tournament in Middle Georgia, so we decided to pack up and go watch him play. Trailer had an EZ-UP, 3 folding chairs and our suitcase and still had GOBS of room left for my wife to go shopping. That morning before their game, we were about to leave to grab lunch before heading to the fields, her nephew was climbing around on the bike and then the team came running out and said "Can we sit on it?" So they all took turns climbing off and on and playing with the radio and grinning like possums for the camera. At the field, the parents wanted to look too, but they were more interested in the Bushtec!

The third one is from our trip home, we flew to California and bought the bike from a member here and then rode it back home. That was at our gas stop in Mojave, CA.

The fourth one is my favorite picture that my wife has ever taken from the saddle. It was early in the morning in TX (East of Amarillo on I-40) and with the cloud cover and sun breaking through, just made a perfect picture!
