Still a newbee. how to set the radio?

No, this isn't because I'm too lazy to read the owners manual (I have 3 of them), this is because none of the owners manuals that I have address how to set the radio to the predefind station selections (1-6).

I have 8 buttons positioned on top of the gas tank that must have something to do with the programming of the radio. and I have a selection toggle on my left handle bar that will allow me to step through the predefinded station selections (1 - 6) and change the volume.

So how do I master this crazy thing?!

Cool Re: Still a newbee. how to set the radio?

My book is at home but I am sure one of the regulars on here will respond.
As I remember, you get on a station and hold/release a button(memory or whatever).
Not much help, right?

Re: Still a newbee. how to set the radio?

Steve: Tune the station you want to save.

1) Press the memory key (MEM) to activate the memory mode
The word "memory" should flash on the display window

2) With your volume control on the left handlebar select the memory slot of your choice by pressing the left or right (3 or 9 oclock position).

3) Press the memory key again. The station should be stored.

Note: the manual calls the buttons you refer to keys. Hope this helps. Let us know if you still have trouble.

I can't figure it out, that's why I stick to CD's.
