Angry Chicane Canyon Tank Bag

Looking for a Chicane Canyon Tank Bag, not the EX, just the regular Canyon bag.

I have given-up any hope that I will ever get a return call from the JERKS at Chicane. I have been calling and leaving e-mails since November!!

I did find two places that are back-ordered on the bags on the net. If they have the same rotten luck getting any help from the Chicane folks, than forget ever getting it!

So, who has one for sell or knows the location of a dealer with them in stock?

Thanks!

Chicane Canyon Tank Bag

Don't know if they have them in stock.

I have the EX and love it.
Bought it at Capitol BMW in Raleigh, NC.
Stopped in, yesterday and saw that they only had the Sierra in stock.
They've called to reorder, but Chicane hasn't returned their calls.
Same story as discussed in previous threads ref Chicane.

My other tanks bags are made by RKA.
They're also great bags.

I was in the same position and went with RKA because I did not want to buy a product that has ZERO support.

I too had the same problem getting a hold of them. I just picked up a used one and hope I never need anything from them.
I can not believe they are still in business with the absence of any customer service.

That is too bad, it hasn't been my experience at all. I have always had my calls returned and product shipped ASAP. When I had a problem with a item over a year old it was fixed with out question.

Hey Dave... If you have such good luck getting a response from them, would you please let them know that the rest of us would like a response too!

Thanks!

I also have had good luck contacting them. I have talked to Randy several times and I know that he does lots of traveling so he may just be on an extended trip. When I had a problem with my bag, well over a year old he just sent me a new one. The biggest problem I ever had was just getting the bag here from China, the load of bags were held up in customs for a long time.

Kind of had the same experience, real tough to get a return cal.

However, when I saw them at the rally they were very courteous and informative. I would like to point out that they have several products that they do not list on their website. The tank bag and trunk bags that are specific to the LT. I also bought the low profile rack bag that is not listed on their site.

I had the same positive experience at the West Bend rally. Randy updated my tank bag loop to the new mini bungi cord style on the spot. I also bought the low profile, "Sierra", rack bag and the accessory map pocket/protector which I don't think is listed on their site either.

Got to say when I delt with them at CCR I couldn't be happier. They showed me the features of the bags inside and out, installed them, and showed me their trick for installing the trunk bag (excess strap is out of the way and it is extremly secure). Sorry to hear their phone service is slow (or worse) cause you can't beat the products and service I received.

On the end of the LT tank bag that hooks around the latch, the originals were made with cloth and you couldn't get the oddments box to latch shut. They have since changed that out with a small bungie looking strap and 'Voila' now you can close and lock the oddments box and not have the door flapping around as you ride.
