Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

The "Your Notifications" link above indicates I have two unread notifications. When I click on this link, I receive the following message: "There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period." Please fix this for me. Thanks.

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

When you click the "your notifications" link does a drop down menu appear or does it just bring you to a different page?

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

When I do, I just get the following message:

"There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period."

I still cannot see anything, and I only saw your reply after I manually went back to this Support Forum and looked for my previous post. Only then, did I see someone had replied... Nothing works still. I logged out and re-logged back in, to no avail.

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

Hey JNW003,

Did you clear your cache/cookies and refreshed your page? Does the issue persist if you try accessing your notifications on another browser/device? Let us know of your results from these suggestions and well go from there.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

-Natalie

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

For the technically illiterate, how do you do that on a Mac? The "Your Notifications" count increased to 8 from your preceding message, but clicking on the link didn't do anything and I had to go directly to the Forum, BMW LT Site Support link to find your reply. Thanks!

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

What browser are you using and I'll talk you through clearing your cache/cookies. For instance, Chrome cache location is in Settings, Safari stores its cache in Privacy, and Firefox cache location is History tab.

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

Thanks, I use a Mac Air with Safari as the browser...

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

Thank you for providing your details. Follow the steps as instructed:

1. Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.

2. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button "Remove all Website Data..."

3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.

Don't forget to refresh your pages (in your browser) and give that a try. Let us know if that works for you and/or if you need further assistance.

Thanks for your patience on this.

Cheers,
Natalie

Re: Erroneous Your Notifications Notice

Thanks for the follow up on this. I tried your solution, but it did not work. Once I cleared the website data, and tried it again, I had to re-log in to this site, but it continued to give me the same response in Private Messages. However, I am also running Adblock Plus, and after I disabled it from this site, I was able to retrieve Private Messages.

Ahh, The pop-up blocker was blocking the PM pop-up.
