Don't even know what to say about this. Saw it on the local news last night.

Ah, to be young and bulletproof again...too bad, quite a waste.

Looks like the Stoopid Truck made a delivery at the cop shop too.

He didn't have a brain, either, so he didn't need the helmet....

It is so sad for everyone involved, including the truck driver who will never be the same. Stupid hurts!

"There, but for the grace of God, go I."
I've done my share of "stupid"... weren't my time.
What I learned..."Lose the lumps, not the lesson."
Bad/poor human decision processes occur in all our endeavors...sometimes they have "lessons" with permanent consequences. Death is surely one of those "permanent" consequences.
But we continue to learn and sometimes re-learn lessons. Ever hear the quote; "The definition of insanity: Doing something the same way that continues to fail, and expecting different results." ?
Loss of these lives and the consequences they leave behind are both "lumps" and "lessons"... which of these will be their legacy, is up to us.
If we don't learn from it, yup, their loss is even more tragic.
Peace..
