After a 45 minute ride in pouring rain last Saturday I arrived at my destination and took my Lowrance iWay 500 C off the bike to let it dry off. I did not try to use it again until yesterday, when I discovered that the touchscreen is completely dead. Everything else seems to be working (satellite hookup, geographic location, map, routing; can't test the mp3, it needs touchscreen input). I'm assuming that water seeped into the unit, but has anyone experienced this and found a fix? I'm about to set it in front of a hairdryer on low, but could use guidance. Thanks.
