Just got back from a Bill Mayer Saddle fitting on my LT. He suggested that I take Hwy 33 North from Ojai to Pine Mountain then head to the east to the I5 from there.
Man that Hwy 33 ride is awesome!! Lots of turns and great scenery. They were working on the road in a couple of places but the ride was the best I've had so far on twisties and the LT handled it with no strain.
It added a few more miles to my return trip to Las Veags but it was well worth it..
Chalk up another awesome experience on the LT!!

Yes, it's a great road. Can't wait until the construction is complete.

Yep, welcome to my back yard. :)

Rider magazine has offices in Ventura, and often uses 33 to test out the new bikes.

That was good advice from Rocky. And the 33 is right off of his driveway.

A good continuation of that ride would have been to exit the I-5 at Castaic and ride the Lake Hughes - Elizabeth Lake roads out to Palmdale, then take Angeles Forest Hwy up to Angeles Crest Hwy and finally meet up with the 215/15 for the big slog back to Vegas.

I'll keep that route in mind when I'm back up that way again..

Thanks for comments, guys..
I'm still grinning to myself when I think of that ride..Ride safe out there..

Did ya get the seat done? Rocky did my KTM 950's seat and I went home that way also. Rocky's a great guy to deal with. Be riding the LT up in a couple of weeks my buddy's got a ride in for his RT.

Scratching my head about that..I was going to suggest that you try...

oh never mind. Too easy. :D

Glad you like the new seat. I'm not sure how, but I need to find a way to do a LD ride on a custom seat some time.
