Ok I don't know what happened to the "review" thread area so here goes.
Received the new CD SLP2 P/N 06 73 7 703 031 for a list price of $59 (discounts at some dealers). It carries all wiring diagrams for all models in model years 1993 to 2006. It is well organized and all diagrams are available in english (plus several other languages). It auto starts and you select the language then the type and model bike.
It is organized into major functional areas and at first it looked very hard to follow. The screens zoom well but all components are marked by a coded number, i.e. a relay diagram with X9021 next to it. Ahh, I then find a "legend" link which pops up and I look for X9021 and it tells me it is the cooling fan relay. Likewise with each connector. I have not tried to print any of the diagrams yet but find I have to zoom all the way in to get readable numbers on the screen.
It is not for the casual observer because it does take some interpretation, but none the less a valuable tool, once you get past the German conventions on diagrams. Worth the money in my book.
