Anyone familiar with the Palm Tungsten E2 with GPS Navigation Pak (http://www.palm.com/us/products/handhelds/tungsten-e2/index_gps.epl)? My wife wants to upgrade her old Palm unit, but would also use the GPS capabilities in the car. I know it's not a full computer, or dedicated GPS, but it may just solve several of her problems for a reasonable amount of money.

What about Apple's iPod/GPS/PDA/Cell/Wi-Fi/Handheld-Computer solution?! For $149, it's a no brainer! And the OS is open-source too!

As soon as it's available, I'll be there. But remember, this is Apple. It'll be a lot more than $149. And it will just work, like you expect it to. :)

I don't use that specific setup since I have a Windows Mobile device, but the general idea works very well. I have http://www.semsons.com/im3btgpssiiw.html setup with my Sprint PPC-6700 phone and use it on every trip. The Tom Tom software gets very good reviews, however. She'll like it.
