Look'n to host a get together here in Casper.

Never done this kinda thing before - any hints? Who's interested? What would you all like to have available? Uh, that's what - not who <g>.

What do you need to get done to your ride? See if we can setup some expertese, tools and stuff.

Boarding arrangements? I've one spare room, a couple 'living rooms' and a nice back yard for tenters.

Location is back in a subdvision - almost no traffic - good neighbors who may well come over and play as well.

Think'n late July or early August. Rest of the world is bake'n hot, but we're not doing too bad here on the High Plains. River is just a couple blocks away. Bring your swim'n gear.

May not qualify for the title 'tech session' unless we can get some good and experienced wrenchers here - may well have to call it a 'WrenchFest' instead.

(ironic comment: Just met a guy in the parking lot here at work. Proudly showing off his brand new HD sportster. Gal standing there with him works in the bank downstairs, introduced him to me as the guy that used to rum the BMW bike dealership here in Casper.)

Howdy and great idea!!!!
I'm a neighbor, just across the state line to the south..
If I'm not hooked up at work, I'd love to zip up there.
How about doing a back brake pad replacement? Mine occasionally squeel (rarely), but as it's a common complaint, it'd be fun to modify some EBC pads and everybody throw 'em in their bikes...

Toss up a weekend that'd work well for ya - see if we can get this nailed down a bit.

EBC brakes - you bet. I've done that on my bike already - very easy to do.
Modify the pads? Ones I got fit right in without mods. You think'n maybe of cut'n grooves? We can do that too.

I had thought that notches had to be cut in the pad's mounting brackets, but I guess that they now supply ones that fit with no mods. I'll try to figure out me schedule and let you know when I won't be watchin' a rig...
Thanks!

Ah, rig watc'n - good luck. I know how 'precise' such schedules can be.

By the by - anyone with any rig expericen that's look'n for work - they're screaming for drug free bodies up here. Even had one directional drilling outfit offer me a slot - money made it sorely tempting. Only experience I've ever had with a rig is when I flow dead dino into my tank.

May have to plan on you hang'n a day or two longer. Drive ya down the 'strip' - you'll see such places all over here. Yea - the boom is back in Casper.

Kinda fun watch'n all the rigs going up for outfitting 'fore they 'go away' again and ship out. Couple dozen yards doing that all around.

Ok, I can make it for a short day or afternoon. Sunday works better for me, but I'll pencil in both days.

We're still a go!

Kinda like to get some oil, filters and whatever is wanted pre-poitioned. Better idea is for folks to 'BYOS' - Bring your own stuff. If you wanna ship here to save haulage effort, lemme know - I'll PM ya an addy.

Any kinda tools I aughta dig up?

Anyone wanna do lights?

Any 12/24K stuff?

Gimme an idea so I can plan on how much sleep to loose 'tween now and then <g>.

Those that're come'n - speak up here or email me. I'll get ya maps/GPS coords to the place.
