For those of us who don't subscribe,
GT or ZX14 ?"152-HORSEPOWER BMW K1200GT"
aka "Smokin' Gran Turismo"
The ZX-14 excites me (performance wise), but I just can't get past those looks. http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif There's rumour of a GT version coming, but who knows when that'll be released. And, if it'll look any better than the '14' or Concours.

I saw Jeff's silver one at Red River, and a blue one at Santa Fe.
The Blue is nice, but a little darker than what I would like, and looks like it would show dirt more.
Just don't sit on one, or you'll be saying bye to the ZX-11 (Or so I'm told).
I won't sit on one yet, cause I just got a new GS.
Slobber on Dude !!

Is There A Place To Read This Without Buying It

it's newly out
you won't be able to read it anywhere but in the copy of the magazine itself. the price is cheap and your money will help them have future articles. it would be worth buying... nice to read while lying in bed.... IMHO

Howard...I think my shock install at the Tech Session might be just an 'act of preparation' before selling my LT. The CFO approved the purchase a couple of hours ago. http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif (IF I sell my LT and Ninja.) http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley14.gif
Now I really got something to think about...

Now I really got something to think about...Wel.... if your neighborhood is virtual, then you have a few neighbors who do have the new GT.
Anyways: if you've been given the green light to buy the new GT, and if that's what you want (instead of the ... holy smokes, clear the decks, lock up the women and children because you'll be making tracks for BMW of Cleveland... :yeah:

Anyways: if you've been given the green light to buy the new GT, and if that's what you want [snip] because you'll be making tracks for BMW of Cleveland...That is probably not the dealer I'll be buying it from. But I need to have a heart to heart talk with my favorite service manager. My 'dealer of choice' may not be a BMW dealer a year from now. I must dispell the rumor before the purchase. http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/icons/Wicked.gif

Careful there Bubba. I have a few Guido type Concours owner friends in your neck of the woods! And yes, the rumors of a new Connie based on the ZX14 are very strong.

Or better yet, get a subscription. Rider (http://www.ridermagazine.com/) is one of the very few magazines that I get delivered monthly, and I usually read it cover to cover. Excellent articles, ride reports, travel logs, and some good columnists to round it all out. Not bad for $1 an issue (subscription price).
