The Adventure was outstanding this weekend during the 5 day trip to NC and back.

The Power output of the engine is getting insane!

I had been throwing some thought at what to name the new bike and waiting on it to speak to me as it where.

I was seriously considering calling it The Warthog, as in A-10:
Not particularly stylish compared to other bikes but solid in the areas that really count.
Power, Performance, Handling and like the A-10s ability to loiter in a kill box for hours the Adventure has the range to stay moving well passed where others are refueling.

The bike is running like it's possessed, every time I ride it I find new power!
So maybe a name like Damian is more appropriate.

On Deal's Gap Sunday afternoon while skinning it back and letting the Gnats at it, I was flying through the Gap and nobody was catching me.

Twice while powering out of turns in third with the RPMs on the High Side I had the front wheel off the ground. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Close to 3500 miles on her in 2.5 weeks and it's all good!

Dave,

Your bike has big boobs?! (according to your signature anyways...)

A pair of 600cc Jugs! http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

It came with Metz Tourances, pretty good on the street, no good at all in sand.
