Hi All,

The sidestand on my ’05 LT makes me nervous. I haven’t had any problems with it and I’m careful where I park the bike. Nevertheless, the bike just doesn’t seem stable when parked.

I’m thinking of trying the “Fat Foot” pad to see if the bike “sits” any better. Has anyone tried this? Does it work?

Whatever you do, don't leave your bike idling on the side stand. She'll role right off just as you go in the house to get your helmet.

I've used the "Big Foot" from Wunderlich Here it is (http://www.bmwsantacruz.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/8500043.jpg) on two different LT's now. You can buy them on-line from Santa Cruz BMW. I can park on about any surface without worry.

The LT side stand forces you to brake the bad habit of parking any bike in neutral.
