Found a great deal on an '04 Ducati Multistrada 1000 in Atlanta. Flew in and road it home the other day. What an absolute ball that bike is to ride.
I had test rode one a few years ago but very brief. I took this up through Northern GA hills and Deals Gap and the Cherahola and then interstated it home.
It is light, fast and oh, so easy to corner. The wide bars and high clearance along with lightweight make this a corner carver to love. I was just grinning from ear to ear. You can get hard bags but I am not going to right away. I love the 'Super Motard look' and have some sport soft luggage that worked well for the trip. Previous owner added the Teremigoni pipes with upgraded ignition chip and comfort seat so all I need is the radar detector mount and a tankbag and I am ready to go. Won't replace the LT for long distance two up comfort but definitely should be considered for a sporty but comfortable 2nd, 3rd or even 10th bikes.
