Loss of power?

I recently had the 12k service done at the dealer. While the bike was in the shop I purchased a sport cruiser with considerably more hp than the Lt. I picked up the Lt and the only thing that was really changed were a couple of buckets for valve adjustment. Maybe its my imagination but, When I ride two up I seem to notice the scooter to have less HP. Those of you who ride other bikes with more HP and own an Lt, do you get the same sensation or is there something that could have been done wrong during the 12k. I know ther could be a number of things but, I thought maybe one of you guys may have experienced the same thing.
