I started haveing the warning light come on followed buy the brake failure ligit also flashing.Completly lost power and was left with only ridizual brakeing.This happens while brakeing not just going down the road. Once you let off thebrakes everything would reset and be fine again for a while.Checked and filled both fluid cups under seat they were aprox.1/2 between max-nin.Test rode .Same problem Iwent to my dealer in Hickory NC they put it on the computer they ran all the tests and said Replace Modulator. $1535 plus 6 hrs labor plus 2 more for computor test.?Should I do this myself or will there be trouble with air purging I have not seen this kind of failure in FAQ or HOW

Their GT-1 diagnosic machine cycles the pumps and solenoid valves during the bleeding process, and then tests the entire system, in ways you won't be able to duplicate at home. With this much $$$ involved, you want to *know* that the job was done right.
