Anyone else going this year? We're going again, using the rally as a focal point but travelling along different routes this time.
The 1st July is the 90th anniversary of the opening of the Battle of the Somme so we're stopping off in St Quentin for a couple of nights to see the commemorations around Albert and Peronne, then a stopover in Strasbourg before we have a couple of nights on the Romantische Strasse at Rothenberg ob der Taube. Thursday to Sunday nights in Garmisch, then a long day to reach Smutje's hotel in Lindlar for four nights. One last night in Bruges and a steady run back home to Derby.
Work's been a swine this year so I can't wait to get on Katie and head south! :bmw:
