I just watched a segment on CBS evening news called "Special Forces/Making the Cut". This segment brought tears to my eyes, as does every time I consider the dedication and commitment of "squared-away", "ground-pounding", Leathernecks, SEALS, Rangers, and other special forces personnel.
If you consider the dedication, drive, committment, and desire of those people who push themselves to the limit of physical and mental endurance for the purposes of defending our freedoms and "following orders" and tears don't come to your eyes, you haven't really thought about the depths of humanity that these guys bring to the front line.
So, to all you guys who pressed on under the load, pushed yourselves to the limit, wether you made the cut or not, as long as you made the committment, THANK YOU. Bravo Zulu. Semper Fi.

;) Glad you cleared that up on the last sentence:) I was beginning to think the front line guys were all that mattered,,,,

They could not train or go out and do their dangerous missions without the men behind them, flying them in and out of LZ's,and the troops who keep the chopper flying, and the ones who get the parts and so on...

While I totally agree that they have a tough line of work, they do truly enjoy it.. We all got assigned an occupational field to work in and we all carried the load.......Anyway..........Regards Pete
