I just watched a segment on CBS evening news called "Special Forces/Making the Cut". This segment brought tears to my eyes, as does every time I consider the dedication and commitment of "squared-away", "ground-pounding", Leathernecks, SEALS, Rangers, and other special forces personnel.
If you consider the dedication, drive, committment, and desire of those people who push themselves to the limit of physical and mental endurance for the purposes of defending our freedoms and "following orders" and tears don't come to your eyes, you haven't really thought about the depths of humanity that these guys bring to the front line.
So, to all you guys who pressed on under the load, pushed yourselves to the limit, wether you made the cut or not, as long as you made the committment, THANK YOU. Bravo Zulu. Semper Fi.
