I would like to suggest removing the controls on upper/lower case.

It does strange things with acronyms and unjustly prohibits SHOUTING.

In my opinion it's not worth it.

Cheers!

Ok. So now I totally confused!

When I posted in the R forum a few minutes ago the software changed my reference to a GS to Gs.

Butt when I posted my suggestion and used the word (with proper emphasis) SHOUTING the software allowed me to SHOUT!

What's up with this issue?

Cheers!

GS - all cap
Gs - first cap
gs - no cap

the cow jumped over the moon - full sentence, no cap.
the sporty GS climbed the mountain while the lt looked on with envy. (GS all cap, lt all lower)

Hey Bob, I haven't noticed any case changes (using Firefox) when I post. And everything up top posted as I expected. Maybe it was a PEBKAC error? :p :D

PEBKAC or FOUI! ;)

Upon further investigation it appeared in the title field, not in the text box.

I'll type SHOUT in the title field and see if it happens.

I know the HDDC guy were complaining last Wednesday about HDDC appearing as Hddc.

Cheers!

PS: FOUI: Figment of Users Imagination (it's not in Google... yet!)
