Striking Viking speaks

Glen Heggstad (the Striking Viking (http://www.strikingviking.net/)) will be speaking tonight at Brown Motors in Pomona. For anyone who hasn't yet heard of him, he's just completed a 2-year round-the-world trip on an F650, covering Russia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Indonesia, Africa, and parts of South America. His presentations are incredible, and his experiences eye opening. Ken,
I saw him last night (Friday) at San Diego BMW. Very impressive, I recommend anyone who hasnt seen him go, and I may go again :D. It was done right, snacks and all, very good slide show. All that after a 3 hour test ride on a K1200R service loaner through some of the east san diego county back roads. WOOO HOOO. (I dont really like the seating position on the R, but gawd it's stoopid fast)

It was a great talk. Glen has done some incredible things and been many amazing places, yet he's completely laid back and easy to talk to. I guess that's important when you meet as many people as he does.

He's also interested in doing more talks across the US, so if anyone wants to hear Glen speak, you should probably bug your local dealer about setting up a visit.
