Sounds fun, but I didn't read anythang about cats. How can you have a decent tech session with cats sitting on parts, seats and just generally getting hair all over stuff?

Well I was clicking around in the "Lighting" section and read the thread about which HID kit to buy. After reading and seeing how easy Joe made it, I clicked a few more times and now I have the kit on it's way. Thanks Joe for making it simple.
I also saw in that thread the mention of having a tech session. Reading this, I see it's going to happen. This is a big hike from Pontiac, MI so I'm not sure if I can make it. I would like to try and tackle this job at home but would also wouldn't mind help from someone with a little knowledge. I'm not trying to hi-jack this thread, just looking for some help. If that doesn't happen, maybe it will give me a little extra incentive to make it to this session.
Let me know guys.
Thanks again.

Either you have a fabulous memory AND I mentioned something about the @#$% cats in my garage on this forum, or I'm totally lost.
If the former: yes, we have 2 cats who live full time (until we can find a good home for them) in our garage. The garage attached to the house. The Tech Session is in MY domain -- the pole barn/garage that is 400' from the house.

Let's see, I'll be in Portland then, so it's about 2,500 miles or 40 hours riding. Wait, that's the same weekend as WCR, which I'm sort of committed to. Maybe next time. :)
Have fun guys.

Heck, you're only 3 to 3.5 hours from me. Sounds like a road trip to me! :D Besides...I've already committed to riding to Indiana to do an HID install for 'roadkingedout'. Why not for you too? ;)
If it ever stops raining!!! :(

I have 5 cats and when I work on my bike, they like to help. Being snobs, not all of them play during a full blown tech session. You can't have a proper tech session without cats:D
