I saw a similar version in Europe a couple years ago. Back then it was powered by a R type engine and was built by a Swiss company. The only downside to this thing is the "somewhat higher sticker" with $80k Have you calculated HOW many miles one has to drive in order to even come close to ROI?

The Europeans have it figured out. Why spend an extra $10K on a hybrid when you can buy a smaller, cheaper car that gets better mileage anyway. Easier to park, too. But not as cool or flashy, which leaves out most Americans.

I saw that one on the news too. Noticed how the little stabilizing wheels came down as it slowed to a stop. I think every time I drove (rode?) it, I'd be thinking about what would happen if those wheels failed to drop down. I reckon that would be a bit more embarrasing than just dropping a bike.
