Anyone had a problem with the XM power supply? I'm using the SkyFi2 with the cradle. Power is supplied by the Delphi Hard Wired FM modulator wired to the battery. I think the issue is either the cradle or the power wire's connectin to the cradle. Would dielectric grease help the connection?

Three things you can try:
Add some velcro to the top of the unit to snug it in place.
Unplug and replug the power to the black base.
Is automatic shut off turned on?

The unit itself is very snug in the cradle so I don't think velcro is needed.
I have tried unplugging the power to the base and that is when I discovered that it wasn't very tight. Now it only works sometimes.
The Auto-On is set because it works when I plug it into my car.
I may try to buy a cigarette power cord and plug it up to try to isolate the problem.

I have the same setup and began having some problems losing the signal; I checked the plugs into the cradle on the side (power in and audio out) to no avail. The XM radio always worked fine in my home kit so I knew it was something on the bike.
Then I figured out I was not losing power, and that the antenna connection is on the back of the cradle, not the side. I disconnected and reconnected the antenna and now it works fine. It did not seem loose, maybe it just got a little cruddy.
I never lost power, my display would sometimes read "antenna". I had just forgotten what plug did what.
