I think that was a stock sport bike.
Now if you took a turbo charged GSXR1000 with an air shifter and a good piolet, be a different story, I think.
I have an invite on the desk somewhere, to the Salt Flats 1st week of Sept. there will be several attempt runs on the MC land speed record.

OK, the scary thing is that I know the F1 driver. My boss in the UK used to wrench for a friend's go-cart team, and the friend's young son showed promise. After taking a karting championship and a Formula Ford championship and placing very well in F3 (where I got to see him race), he managed to score an F1 ride with BMW-Williams. Jensen Button is with Honda now, and still holding his own against the veterans (top 10 in all but one season since 2000).
I don't know who was on the bike, but did any of you see the boat? :)

I haven't seen any steenkeen boat! Though, yesterday this kid with vacant eyes wandered up to me and said, "I see boat people".

Nothing like a fair fight...Jeez! Yea, let's compare a track-ready F1 to an appears-to-be-STOCK sportbike. Race a $10,000,000 car against a $10,000 bike. Gimme a break! Cagers SUCK!!! I don't care how fast it goes.
