Reminds me of some of the boat owners I have RUN into, Think when they buy the boat the water comes with it and How dare you get in there way. Usually the higher the price for the boat the worse the attitude. One thing that amazes me is that they think plastic is stronger than steel!

I saw this a couple days ago on another site -- the story is (according to the news station announcer) this guy had just spent $39,000(!!!!!!) for the new bike, and this was his first ride out of the parking lot. Not terribly promising ... ;)

When I first saw it, it was pretty obvious to me that he had never ridden a motorcycle before. Gotta be cool though, notice how fast he gets his feet up on the "cool" pegs, not on the floorboards.

The start kinda surprises him, then he goes to cool, then "steers" right, as is required at very slow speed, accellerates to the point where countersteering is REQUIRED, and cannot get it to turn. There is a little bobble the first time he tries to again steer right, and starts to go left because of the countersteering affect he is not expecting, then a hesitation, he then finally gets it turning right somehow, then BOOM.

I think that we should adopt the motorcycle training REQUIREMENT that many countries have before you can put your butt on one.

Now, some insurance company has to replace a BRAND NEW bike, assuming he had insurance. I hope he didn't! Take the ignorance fee out of HIS pocket.
