GPS 2730 Sun Sheilding Help?

Hello,

I got my Garmin 2730 to work on my 2002 K12lt. The visibililty is poor when the unit is in direct sun light. Does anyone have any solutions for sun glare on the unit? Is there a tinted film you can put on the screen? I have seen visors, do they really work? Let me know your thoughts and what works.

A visor works fine on mine. Made mine from a used flower pot. The thin black kind you get at the nursery w/a new plant in it.

Used a baseball cap bill for a pattern... works well.. Mine is a bit long as of now. I'll probably shorten it several inches in the near future...
