Seems most people go with ME 880's for mileage, or Bridgestone BT20 radials for handling.
There is section on tires here:

Bob
BT20 radials for handling and more importantly, WET GRIP!

would you recommend Radial? I was looking at dunlops but all they have is BP.
Which Radial do you run?

The Dunlops are terrible...stay away.
Currently running the Metzelers . . . Bias Ply, of course. That's all they make for the LT.
I used to run the B'Stone Radial on the rear until I had one delaminate on me. Oh, that was fun! That was my LAST B'Stone Radial I'll ever buy for MY LT.
People say the Metzelers don't grip as well in the wet. I dunno. I can't get one to slip in the wet. Just rode through 200 miles of rain through Tennessee at 70-80mph. The Metzelers held the road just fine. No problems through the north GA mountains either, come to think of it. Yea...you could say it rained!
Having said all that, my next set of tires will be the B'Stone Bias Ply.

You'll find lots of opinions here, but you gotta go with what feels best to you.
I'm happiest with Avon front / BT020 rear, both radials. Decent mileage, great grip wet or dry, and the bike feels lighter and more nimble. The front BT020 radial also feels good, but I get better mileage from the Avon. My second choice is the BT020 bias tires. Slightly better mileage, with decent grip and good handling. Never tried Dunlops, and to me the Metzelers feel sluggish and definitely slip in the wet. Thats not worth it to me no matter what mileage they get.
Like I said, you gotta find what works for you.
