I have a 2004 Haulmark LowHauler 7X12 enclosed trailer and I really like it. Problem is I really do not have any place to store it where it won't have birds shitting all over it. It is too nice a trailer to let get ruinied. I am looking at a cover.
I am thinking about going with an open trailer for 2 bikes. I know about the exposure issues on the hiway. My question is concerning those andem axle equipment hauling type of trailers. Anyone had any experience using them. Do the bikes bottom out at the point where the front wheel in on trailer and rear wheel is still on ramp? I can build something for the front to block the rocks and such so that isn't too much concern. What do you guys think? I really do not use my existing trailer much but will when my son and I go to the mountains or such
