Hello, everyone! I just received my 2730 :) and am looking forward to installing it on the '03 LT. I also received the BMR shelf plus bracket and the motorcycle mount kit for 2610. My question is how do I remove the LT's instrument cover to run the lines thru the light opening? Are there instructions somewhere? I did try once before after removing the tupperware and windshield, but the cover wouldn't come up after taking out the visible torx screws in front and side (I think four screws total).

Remove Windscreen
Standing on the side of the bike next to the windscreen
Grab the chrome screw cover with both hands
with your fingers grab the inside edge of the screw cover and rotate the edge up and toward the outside edge, it will pop off!
Repete on the other side
Remove the 4 windshield screws and spring clips
Remove the cover
Remove the seven (7) torx screws holding the cover
4 around the edge of the cover
2 in the wells where the winshield arms are located
1 in the map light housing

When installing my 2610, I didn't find it necessary to remove any of that. The map light pops right out, and there's your power. Then I ran the audio cable through the map light hole and fished it back using a long small wire. You can always reroute the audio cable when you have all the Tupperware off at a later date.
Food for thought...

Ok, thanks to both for that info and suggestion. The previous owner had removed the light for his Street Pilot mount. I'll check again for those three screws I overlooked.
