I'm playing with my ice-link plus versin 2B2 plus iPod 4th generation.
I have about 10 playlists on the ipod, but I can only access the first 5
I'm tryting the trick going to CD6, them 'PLAYLIST' but no success so far.
What happens is that when I ge to the 'PLAYLIST' menu, if I press the > once, it goes to the 'ALBUM' menu.
if I press the > and hold for 2 seconds, jumps to CD1
if I press the "MAN" and then the > goes to "ALBUM"
if I press the "MAN" and them the > for 2 seconds goes to "ALBUM"
if I press the "MAN" and them the > twice, it goes to ALL music on the iPOD

How exactly you navigate using only the > and < since we don't have the >> and << ?

And are you able to scroll all more them 5 playlists on your ipod?

Thank you

5 is all you get, however you can put more than "99" songs on each. When the text counter gets to 100 it will read as 01 and move up the list from there. I found that I can make 3 song play lists and 2 audio book play lists and have enough for over a week and never listen to the same song. You will have to forward through the playlist if you unplug the iPod or change playlists and return to the original playlist, because it will restart from track 1 just like the CD changer. IHTH

When I first installed my iceLink I could not get it to select menu items in CD 6. I learned later that you press the "Manual" button on the radio display, which turns your "next" button to "fast forward". It looks like you may be trying that trick without success.

I didn't want to fool with CD 6 controls, since I keep my iPod out of sight in the oddments box. What I did was to rearrange my playlists so that all my favorite music is in my first five playlists. I have a 4G Nano so it's a pretty manageable volume of music for me.

As recommended in the Dension instructions, I re-named my playlists with numerical prefixes like "1 Classical" "2 Jazz" or whatever. I then found that iTunes seemed to list "smart playlists" (shown in your source list with a little "cog" or asterisk icon) before regular playlists. As a result, the default smart playlists like "most recently played" were taking up two or three of the "top five" slots. I simply re-vamped my playlists as smart playlists, which moved them up in priority. Anyway, that's what worked for me.

Once you find the right one, hit the "MAN" button again, then press the ">" button once. Viola!

How exactly you navigate using only the > and < since we don't have the >> and << ?MAN + > = >>
MAN + < = <<
(BUT! these features do timeout if you're not fast enough.)

And are you able to scroll all more them 5 playlists on your ipod? You can scroll as many playlists as you can create.
