I drained and refilled all my fluids the other day.
I put .6L in the gearbox. It didn't come out of the filler hole, but I guessed that was ok. I now read it should be .6 -.75L so I may have underfilled the gearbox. Should I fill it until it comes out of the hole? Will I have done any damage riding it underfilled?
Thanks
Simon

Aprox 20 oz fills the trans and 8 oz FD. I dont think you did any dammage, Hom many miles did you ride with it underfilled ?

Fill until it comes out of the filler opening, don't worry too much about the amount put in if it's somewhere in the ballpark of your stated amount.
Damage?? I doubt it. Sounds as if you are pretty close.
Good Luck :)

You are close, so no problem. The tranny is "splash" lubricated, so as long as a big part of the gears is submerged it will lubricate well. Cooling is also a big part of what the oil does, so when you get a chance just complete the filling.
Fill until it comes out of the filler hole while the bike is on the centerstand.

FYI now you know how much it holds
