That area is quite safe, and in a nicer part of the Memphis area. My daughter lives in Cordova, about 6 miles from there. Also, the BMW dealer is only about a mile from there, on Pleasant View, off Sycamore.! :D

Hey, John - thought about adding this to the 'reverse gear problem' thread, butt got interrupted, so .... in questionable situations where I want a leetle added security, one of the thangs I do when I park Toad is to leave the knob in reverse mode. Causes just a leetle instance of panic the next morning when I thumb the start button! :D

Toad ain't gonna start if in reverse. Lights are gonna work, which will tell ya the battery is ok; butt first thang you do is check the sidestand to make sure it's up - then the kill switch to make sure it's centered - then twist the key coupla times; THEN .... DUH!!

Have fun in Memphis.

Thanks Dick, I do that sometimes too..:)

I think I'm going to pick up one of those brake disk locks with the alarm on it..

Hopefully I'd be close enough to hear if it were to go off..
