I am looking for a portable air compressor to carry with me on trips. I would like one that deflates as well as inflates so that I can pack my air mattress smaller. Any suggestions?

You might try the Razorback football team, because if they can blow as much as they suck you will be set!

ok sorry, couldnt resist.

Good question...I too would like to find one.

I purchased an "Airzone" tent (available at Canadian Tire) that came with a 12 volt compressor that "sucks & blows" . This unit works very well for both the tent and my 8 inch deep queen-size inflatable mattress. (I REALLY don't like sleeping on the ground).

I have one made by Coleman that fits my Coleman air mattress. Four D cells last a long time. Do you have a source for Coleman products?

I already tried one of the air mattresses with the built in pump. I returned it because it wouldn't inflate fully and I figured if the pump packed it in, the whole mattress would be useless. So, I decided to go with a separate pump.

The one I am referring to is separate. Here's a link to the one I have.
