Anyone else tried to use their web site for ordering stuff? They've been good to me on prices and delivery - but their web site. Avoid it. Call 'em instead.

Last night I was after some oil filter kits (filter, washer and O-ring) - ready to plop in my CC # in when I noticed it's not a secure site. Uh-oh - ain't likely to do that then. Well, maybe (feeling lucky!) - if I can verify that server is really theirs. Still risky, but hey when ya got the luck on ya...

Server has no DNS name, IP has no reverse DNS resolution, traceroutt goes back to - what?? A host/provider/ISP - something in FRANCE??!?!

Sure enough. In any case, no way in god's black space am I gonna put a CC # on that!

Phoned 'em and got my order in. Asked about the web site. Parts guy said, "Yea, I know - they're working on it". Same answer I got last summer when I asked about the lack of SSL on their payment page.

More of an FYI and heads up than anything. They've been good for me, but I sure don't trust that site with my CC #.

I ordered a couple of things from them this morning but I used PayPal as I too noticed it was not SSL enabled.

Maybe we need to work something out... I bought my LT from them and am now down there once or twice a weekend! And while they have great FREE coffee, I almost never get out of there without dropping $200! Well, at least it is a really nice ride down there.

P.S.: I'll see them tomorrow as I'm going with their group down to the RawHyde California Adventure Rally. I'll let them know about your stated concerns, and see what they say.
