Over the years I remember reading messages about add-on backrests for a stock seat on the LT but I can't seem to locate them in the Archives. I didn't need such a thing, at the time, because I had a Corbin seat with a backrest on my '99LT.

So --- can anyone recommend an add-on backrest for the stock drivers seat on an '05 LT. I don't want to have to buy a new Corbin seat and backrest if I can avoid it.

Thanks

Earle

Backup is the best I've tried; available from our very own Raffy (http://motogear4you.com/mcart/index.cgi?code=3&cat=3)!

I got the Bakup for my 05 LT when they delivered the Bike. The dealer(Irv Seaver) gave 15% off all accessories the first 30 days. The only drawback was the material finish. My LT has the grey soft touch seats and the Bakup backrest was more of a traditional vinyl texture and color. It works great and is adjustable.

What these other guys said!

Additionally, the BakUp is constructed on a stainless steel yoke which has two holes at its base through which the two 5 mm socket head screws attach the BakUp to the bike...this is at the front of the passenger seat anchor point. The BakUp is adjustable, it is practical, durable, and does the job ergonomically and that is the principal reason you want a back rest in the first place. I have it on my 05 LT and it helps my bad back (L4/L5 disc rupture in November 1986) immensely. You will not regret this choice!
