Can anyone tell me if this has a 3.5mm socket to connect into an intercom.

I have the bike half stripped although no socket is evident, do I need to totally remove the radio from the casing?

BMW's approach to adding an intercom was to put the Intercom downstream of the radio, i.e., between the radio and the rider's headset.

Even with the newer CD radios, there's no "easy" input. A search on "aux input" should turn up a thread with pics showing the rear of the radio chassis. This thread shows where there is a multi-pin connector used by the BMW intercom that you can use for aux input, *if* you can find a matching plug.

Thanks for the reply mneblett ;)
I have just taken it all apart and came to the same answer :(

I will tap into the rear speakers instead, ALL is not lost as I needed the plastic off to route a sat nav cable anyhow.

Thanks once again for the reply.
