As much as I love the LT ,I might be selling her. My signifigabt other has no interest in riding, fitted the little lady with helmet and gear, says she feels claustrophobic even w/ open faced Nolan w/ shield. Tried some full face on and she panicked. Even if I do not sell I will have a 1200 GSA, then I can ride on gravel(marble) roads, medium sandy roads, jeep tails, etc. really can't justify two bikes as much as I would like to.

What value price range do you guys think a 05 LT w/Phillips HID hi& lo 5000Kelvin, PIAA diochroic driving lights, PIAA fog lamps, Z Techic lower faring lights, 6 disc changer,Lowrance I-Way 500C GPS on ram mount Z Tecknic dash cover, BMR flatbed, BMW leather tank liners,Kisan Vectra signals on mirrors and rear license plate,Muth signal mirrors, Gizmomill led brake cluster rear, Hyper lights, BMW LED btake module, Bakup backrest, BMW tall windshield, Parabellum -2 windshield, BMW GS stalk mirrors as auxillary mirrors,Kisan charge-x w/ realtime ampmeter/voltmeter dash mounted, 5000 miles w/ 22 months factory warranty remaining and a PINNACLE warranty that covers ABS plus all other components and expires in May 2011 unlimited miles, BMW chrome trunk rack w/ led brake. an exta dc socket in glovebox, BMW tank bag w/ raincover, hard wired for Gerbings heated gear.BMW cental locking system w/alarm and ground lighting. I might have left something off, don't know what though. BMW handle bar mount drink holder.

Any input would be appreciated

SInce I've been looking after totaling my 03 about 4 weeks ago, the range that the 05's have been listed and going for seems to be from 14,900 to 17,500. Most seem to hit the 16,000 to 16,500 range from my observsation. When you come up with a price to start, send me a PM and a Pic, I might be interested.

Generally, most your accessories are give aways.

They really do not affect the price of the moto much above KBB and NADA retail values.

I usually remove any accessories when I get rid of a bike and sell them on ebay seperately. The much greater accessory value I normally get, makes up for the hassle of removing them and ebaying them.

Better yet, list them along with an asking price plus email and post it to this site rather than ebay. More chance of gaining back some residual value. Ebay takes too many fees. They will sell easier in the Spring anyhow.

appreciate the input and for the most part confirms my thoughts on accessory value. I can justify keeping the LT by the mere fact that the LT and the 1200GSA are two different bikes w/ distinctly different missions. The 500# machine is different in handling charactereistics, yet has substantial wind protection behind the newly designed faring and does pretty well in 30 plus crosswinds at interstate speeds. Any of you have both machines? your input please.
