Hello together,
I tried to update the Firmware for the IceLink Plus but now the IceLink is without any function.
I do really all things like the manual says, I copy the *.mru file with drag and drop to iTunes, mark all the 580 files and copy them with drag and drop to the fresh resetted iPod Video. I copied the update.mp3 to the iPod. Then I go down to the bike start the radio, select CD-Changer. I got the CD01 TR01 in the bikes display. After this I choose the "song" update.mp3 press play und connect the IceLink Plus cable to the iPod Video.
Then I read something like... is updating... but after 15 minutes there was no other information in the display to read. I turn of radio and iPod and now I'm trying todo again without success. I reset the iPod, copy the files on it go down to the bike and try again but nothing with update or so on is to read in the display, I only see how the update.mp3 is playing...
I need a better solution the sending the IceLink Plus to a dealer, anybody an idea what I should try?
