Have a great time. I ate there a few months ago and it was excellent. I wish I could make it but I will down in Mexico racing in the La Carrera.

Trader Vic's is the favorite of some friends. Yesterday they called and asked if Barbara and I wanted to come with them to dinner at Vic's this Friday.
Twice in one weekend. I haven't done that in years! :o
It's a good place...

Where are all the Stockton and East Bay riders?
Perhaps there is an important football loss (1-5 now?) to watch?
A few of us are planning to ride over the Bay Bridge through town over the Golden Gate and then through the Marin Headlands and hook up with Hwy 1 after lunch. Probably come back through Pt. Reyes and Novato over on 37. Hoping for some nice photo ops on the cliffs overlooking Stinson Beach. :yeah:
The window for predictable weekend weather is quickly closing!

The ride across the Bay Bridge was great. Definitely got some steep stop and go experience coming down Mission in the city. The fog became a factor just as we got to the Presidio. The Golden Gate was fogged over until the last 200 yards where the sun came through again. Looked like the headlands would be completely shrouded plus the wind had really picked up coming across the GGB. Couldn't really see anything from the observation point. Although Sausalito was sunny and bright, we decided it was not the right day for the coast so we headed up to the 37 cutoff and came around San Pablo Bay. We'll be back another day. Warmed up considerably by the time we stopped in Vacaville. Hope everyone made it hope safe and without incident.
Thanks again to Nelson for the idea and execution. We enjoyed the location and the lunch. Very good coffee I might add. Glad we have the opportunity to do a few of these types of trips now and again. Especially on nice days during fall and winter. Things will be much darker after the time change on Saturday night.
