Mr. Tennent said that it is permissible to use the radial BT-020's on '05 and '06 LT's without any safety issues to be concerned with. I b very happy with his response. He also indicated that he and/or a Bridgestone representative would like to be present at CCR to give a presentation on tires in general and Bridgestone's in particular. Next Monday our friends at swmototires.com will be getting an order from me for a pair of radials. Oh happy trails are here again!!
Hi, Bruce it was nice talking to you on the phone today. Please feel
free to contact me in the future.

Subject: tires for an '05 BMW K1200LT motorcycle
Hello. I have a question if I may about your tires. Do I risk any
potential safety hazards by mounting and using your BT-020 radials for
both front and rear (product codes 099627 and 099635) on my '05 BMW
K1200LT? Yes, I know that BMW made a steering head rake/trail change on
the '05's but the OEM bias ply tires that came on my '05 do not last as
long (mileage) as my previous BT-020's (radials) on my '00 BMW K1200LT.
Bottom line, I'd like to mount two new radial BT-020's on my '05 if it
will not create any significant safety issues. Any response and or
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time, effort and consideration.
Sincerely,
Bruce Harris, Jr.- BIC
