Back in March, my bike's center stands weld broke and the beauty fell on the right side against my cabinets. After great help from members on this site, I was able to get parts and fix her up. The last thing was to get a new windscreen. Having had several Cee Baileys screens in the past, one Sunday night late, I ordered a Cee Baileys #2, -3. This was an accident on my part and I did not notice it until I received it 8 days later. I took it out of great packaging and mounted it on the bike to notice it was lower than mu old one. I researched my records and found that my last screen was a -2 and I somehow had made a mistake on the new order.
Well, I took the screen off the bike and cleaned it up real good with their cleaner and re-packaged it just like I had received it from the faqctory and sent it back.
A week later I had not heard from them so I called and spoke to Avo. He told me that the screen he received from me was very deeply scratched and he could not exchange it or resell it. I questioned as to whether he had the correct screen or just exacly what the problem was. He told me he would send some pictures too which I agreed.
Well, yesterday I received another call. This one was from Mr. Roy Perez. Roy told me he wanted to keep his customers happy and that he had polished the scratches out. In addition, he told me that he researched the records and noticed it was an internet order and he can see how a mistake could have been made and that he was going to give me an even exchange and send me a new Cee Baileys #2, -2 with free shipping.
There has been several discussions of poor customer service from the company so I thought I would tell you guys my story and how courteous and friendly the associates at Cee Baileys were to me......I have purchased four windscreens for several different bikes and they have always been extremenly professional. Kudos to Roy and Avo for their attitude and customers service.
Again, this was my mistake and I was prepared to accept any offer they were prepared to make me for my error so I could start riding again.
Happy ending......................thanks Cee Baileys for true customer service!
