Which Hitch to use

I would like to know what type of hitches everybody uses and how they like them. I will be pulling a Little Guy Rascal. Thanks for all your help

I use the Dauntless. It is very easy to remove (for appearance sake or to change the back tire) as it uses 2 "linch pins". Also came with the proper wiring so that it doesn't screw up the ABS system.
I know others here have used the Bushtech and like it, but it makes changing the back tire a PIA (in my humble opinion).

Dauntless, I pull both a Two wheel and a UniGo.

I use Dauntless as well. I would also recommend their isolator wiring harness.

I had a Dauntless and replaced it with a Bushtec.
Dauntless makes a great hitch, looks great, partially remove-able to change out the tire, very convenient

So why did I take it off my LT and replace it with a Bushtec?
Bushtec pulls from the lower motormount.
Take a good look at what's holding up your bags and tailsection, it's pretty wimpy.
Dauntless pulls from the hollow tubular frame and saddlebag mount, my theory is in time with the trailer pulling back and down on the hitch with every bump, sooner or later the rear subframe is going to stress crack just like the old airhead BMW's did if you put a top box on.
Now that's not to say that the Bushtec is the perfect hitch, it's more work to change a tire, 3 bolts on the front and 2 on the rear of the hitch.
And as I just found out last week you also have to remove the front bolts of the hitch to remove the right side footpeg bracket when you change the transmission oil.
You decide, it depends on the weight of your trailer and what type of roads you intend to ride on, is the Bushtec worth the extra effort, in my opinion yes (ymmv)

I was unhappy with my Bushtec until I welded the the center of the "X" mounting straps on the rear. It is now as solid as a rock. Does not move at all.

I agree that it is by far the best design, although a bit inconvenient... :(

WARNING: Do not attempt this while on your scoot - you MUST remove it or risk frying some VERY expensive electronics! I simply clamped mine in the mounted position with some Vice Grips, unbolted it, welded, then re - installed it.

I use the Hitch doctor one because it is rock solid. It pulls from the frame up front. It is not as easy to change a tire. You have 4 bolts. 3 that have to be loosened and one has to be removed. I bought it because I saw a picture of the dauntless that was bent from the trailer hitting a curb. I always overload the trailer.
