Ordered one about three weeks ago. Talked to manufacturer this past Thursday and was told they are still in the process of doing their first production run. Probably will not see mine for another 2 weeks if they stay on track.

May we never find the end of the road!

Went to my local BMW shop yesterday inquiring about the VStream, was told that one of the BIG SHOTS at the company (who likes to test ride all of the accessories before they go into production) was not happy :( with the design so he set it back to the designers for some changes. I believe that this information was also mentioned on a different thread here.

So it may be awhile before the shields hit the market. My BMW dealer is taking orders for the shield but would not give a delivery date.

Just got an email from the Z-Technik folks. Thought I'd pass it on.


"Thank you for the e-mail. Your local dealership is correct. We are doing some minor adjustments to our new windshield. This will be available to ship approx. early next week (week of April 21st.) The owner of our company tests all of our product before the the final sign off and into production. We want to ensure that you are getting the finest quality product. I apologize for the hold up and any inconvenience this has caused.

Has anyone actually seen or received one of these yet? I am interested if they work as advertised.
