Does anyone have any suggestions on keeping the seat treated? I have the soft seat and want to keep it in good shape.
Thanks

I have a custom leather saddle and use Mcguires Leather Wipes.
When it was brand new I wiped it down every day, now I use them about once a month.
Mcguires Leather Wipes work great on Vinyl as well.

I rub my leather seats out with mink oil every other month, year round.

The stock BMW seat needs remarkably little care. I did nothing to mine other than cleaning it occasionaly, and it sat in the sun every day at work for 4 years. Looked little different than new. I finally put another stock seat on, as the original was getting a little tired in the foam, and was going to send it to Rich Myers to get it customed before a planned high mileage year. Unfortunately, I totaled the bike with the newer seat on it. :( Never sent the old one out. Ron used it for demo purposes regarding his seats.

That is great advice. I've used mink oil on baseball gloves for decades and still have the same gloves after 25 years.

Keith;
I picked up a bottle and it works great and does not leave the seat slippery.
Thanks

Mink Oil does the trick. Once a year use a high quality leather conditioner. You will be happy!
