I need help....Most of us have bikes listed on the signature line. The question is, are they bikes you presently own or have had in the past? I am trying to explain to my wife that most BMW owners also have several other bikes and thats why I need to buy another bike. Please help me with this one!!!!!

Mine are also current. My wife used to think I needed only one bike...the LT. Then she took a little ride on the KTM. About 4 hours later we were already late for a dinner engagement and she still didn't want to go home. Now she sees that the KTM can handle the hghways and also take off down a knarly dirt/gravel road without any problem. Or take off across a field or thru a stream....or......
You don't get to places like in the attached photo by riding the LT.

Hi, way to go, use the forum to justify buying another bike.....
"Look dear, see all these nice folks on the LT forum, they have other bikes not just an LT, do you think we should have another one?"
Mine are current, but two are off the road. The Kawasaki is in need of a new tank, I'll get that this winter, and the Chopper is part way through a dry build prior to Paint Polish and chrome.
Good luck with getting another ride.

I don't know... I might be inclined to have another opinion.
Tricky at times, but not impossible.
In fact, it was down right cool!:D

Yes they are all in the garage now...So tell your wife 3 is OK, and 5 is better.
My wife says I have to stop at 5.....I can't believe she's letting me go that far.
Hipee!! I still have 2 slots open for more bikes...Next is a RT (I hope)...and then maybe a 2006 KLT....
I'd hate getting rid of the old ones...unless it's make room for more new ones...

Yes sir, I have taken my LT down roads like in your photos; however, the road in my photo is a bit misleading. It is part of the White Rim Trail near Moab, Ut. I promise you, I don't care what kind of rider you are you would absolutely NOT be able run that trail on an LT....not even if you could put knobbies on it.

My wife said three is the limit. If I want a new one, I have to part with one in inventory. I will hold on the ones I have for now.

Before we changed to this format I listed the ones I had in the past under the "previous mounts" label. Now I only have the LT, but my avatar is my favorite bike, the Bultaco Matador Mk10, and yesterday while talking with my wife I mentioned that I may start looking for one just like the one I had. She did not say no...

Mine are current. While the K-R was to be my personal "stretch" bike, the Mrs. has fallen in love with it. If your Mrs. wants to ask Nancy any questions about the second bike tell her she is welcome to send a PM to "BillysDaisy".
PS. By dividing the type of riding between the two bikes, the LT doesn't get, to use others expressions, "flogged" as much as before Wolfgang.

Also a two bike owner. One has three wheels, so does that make it 2 1/2?
