Was having a difficult time checking the tire pressure on my new (to me) LT, make that a complete PITA. So did some searching and saw a reference to the Roadgear gauge. Didn't see a lot of feedback on it, but thought at $20, isn't that much of a gamble. Showed up in the mail today, tried it out, and WOO HOO. That was EASY! Fits right onto the stem without the usual struggle and positioning. The gauge holds the reading for 7 seconds after you remove the pressure, so no more contortions trying to read the gauge. YIP PEE. Recommend it highly. Joel

I ordered and received one of these gauges about 6 months ago. It quit working after the fourth or fifth use. I emailed the company twice asking what to do about the defective unit. I have not heard from the company. Yes, the price is right but the product and customer service is not.

I've had mine for a few years now. Still performs flawlessly. I'm surprised to hear BEhrler's experience has been negative. Everybody I've communicated with regading this particular gauge, as well as RoadGear prodcts and customer service, have nothing but good to say.

Yes, my experience is disappointing to say the least. I had expected a quick reply but it didn't happen. I'm simply going to take it to the International motorcycle show next year and present it to their salesman at their booth. I would assume that I will get a response then.

I thought I was the only one that had trouble checking the tire pressure and I have one of those BMW digital gauges. Half the air shoots out before I can line it up and press just right. Thanks for the info......

Speaking of tire pressure: I recently purchased this Air Compressor from PEP Boys. Price was $30 if I remember correctly.

Why don't you pick up the phone and CALL THEM! 800-854-4327.
I had to return two units once. They had the replacements to me BEFORE I had a chance to send them the defective units! GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Maybe you need to try a bit harder to reach them! ;)

This is surprising. I've talked with folks (even outside the BMW community) who've had great customer service from Mansoor. I know he doesn't like to hear even one negative thang about Roadgear's products or his customer service, so once he hears of your situation, he'll do the right thang, betcha.
And as far as presenting it to their salesman at next year's IMS, you'll prolly be talking directly with Mansoor. He might have had an assistant at their booth during Breckenridge CCR04, butt he was present nearly all the time. And they musta sold hunnerts of those tire pressure gauges.
Hope you hear from them soon; and take JATownsend's advice and give Mansoor a call.

I posted my response to the comment that Roadgear has "great products and customer service" because I had a product of their's fail. I emailed requesting advice on what to do. I heard nothing. I re-emailed the same question and received no response again. Now I'm told that I didn't try hard enough. Maybe I didn't. Yes, I could have called, yes I could have sent another email. In my opinion "Great Customer Service" does not mean that the customer has to "try harder".
I sincerely hope that I'm not going to be on the hit list for awhile by posting this response. Have a "great day". :)

I think 2 emails is enough, but their email may be messed up (mine does at times) or the person responsible for checking them may have messed up. I would give them a call and talk to a real person. Bet ya get the response you want.Good Luck

Nope Butch, you're not gonna be put on a 'hit' list - ya told the truth and for sure, try as hard as they might, I don't think 'any' company can go thru life with 100% success in customer service or product reliability. It's just that your example is outside Roadgear's normal bidness conduct and is surprising to many of us. And I think you were given sincere advice about contacting them using their 800 number - in the vein of wanting you to resolve your situation to your benefit, as well as having the company fix somethang that may have dropped thru the cracks - twice! If I had Mansoor's ear, I'da bent it to have him take care of ya - butt I don't; however, I'm not gonna be surprised if it happens soon. Get the faith back, Butch - I'm pullin' for ya. And btw, I hope you've found a substitute tire pressure tool that you like. This ole man is using one of those Accugauge dial units with the short hose and bleedoff button - still gotta bend over and groan a lot tho, butt I git-r-done. Take care, Butch. Ride safe.
